152. George Thomas Beilby (George Howord , Christopher A , George , William , Thomas , William , Richard ) was born in 1915.
George Thomas Beilby was a Minister for the Baptist Church. He met his wife, Shirley Constance Aldridge while in training at the Island Bay Church. George and Shirley felt it wise to postpone their marriage until George finished his training and had taken up a post in a new church. This was due to Shirley; being a parishioner of the same church they felt it would no appear proper.
They moved to Indwood Christchurch as a married couple and then onto the Central Church in Wanganui.
The churches from here went, Ashburton, Mornington (Dunedin) and the on to the Hutt Valey (Taita) where he became semi retired. George spent 3 months in New Plymoth after his wife Shirley died before returning to Levin.

156. Frederick Thomas Beilby [scrapbook] (Julius Alexander , Christopher A , George , William , Thomas , William , Richard ) was born on 29 Jun 1925 in Wakefield New Zealand. He died on 29 Jun 2001 in Nelson New Zealand. The cause of death was Stroke. He was buried on 3 Jul 2001 in Nelson New Zealand.
Fred was born in Wakefield and moved with the family until finally settling in Takaka in 1939.
During WW2 Fred joined the RNZAF where for a while he trained as a pilot but ended up being posted to Fiji as ground crew.
Returning to Takaka in 1946-47 he worked in the local hardware store until 1951-55. He moved to Hamilton where he met his wife Barbara where they were married. The two of them moved to Petararu where he built his own house.
They later moved to Whakatane where they adopted their two children Mark and Raewynn prior to returning to Hamilton.
For a while Fred and Barabara owned a small Dairy in Frankton, a suburb in Hamilton but this was affected by fire one night when the freezer in the adjoining shop suffered an electrical fault destroying the shop and the business failed.
From here the family moved to Glenview in Hamilton where Fred and Barbara stayed until his retirement.
Upon his retirement they moved to Raglan where their daughter, Raewynn and grandson, Brydon were living.
From here they Fred and Barbara move to Taraunga as a number of Barbara's brothers lived here but sadly Barbara passed away here in 1992. Fred continued to stay in Tauragua until the year 2000 when he returned to Richmond, Nelson.
Frederick married Mrs Barbara Mary Williams daughter of Charles Frederick Williams and Winifride Conroy on 9 Apr 1955 in Hamilton. Barbara was born on 22 Aug 1928 in Kilbirnie Wellington New Zealand. She died on 24 Jul 1992 in Tarangua New Zealand. She was buried on 20 Mar 2001 in Nelson New Zealand.

She was christened in Brisbane Australia. Catherine was employed as Exams & Time Tabling Manager in Brisbane. + 189 F ii Raewynn Mary Beilby was born on 23 Oct 1960.
